VANIGENT was founded in 2021, but we’re not new to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our leadership team members have an average of 25 years’ experience building and managing specialized teams, including product sales, commercial operations, drug development, and portfolio commercialization. Our systematic approach merges your requirements and customer needs to curate best-in-class solutions to your unique product challenges. Leadership Team

Javan Collins

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Javan is the Chief Executive Officer of VANIGENT BioPharm and Chairman of the VANIGENT Corporation Board of Directors.

Javan brings unique executive expertise in leading commercial operations and clinical drug development at Eli Lilly and Company. He also has been a successful entrepreneur that has consistently demonstrated top business performance as a business owner and across marketing, sales, commercial operations, strategic planning, clinical drug development and business development. Javan has successfully launched products, turned around product performance, and led drug development through FDA Advisory Committee and global product approval.

Javan earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from University of Connecticut, and a M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Javan is married with two children and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Grady Grant, III

Executive Vice President / Partner

Grady has over 30 years experience in major pharmaceutical sales, sales operations, and marketing. He served as VP of sales for Eli Lilly and Company leading sales teams through multiple therapeutic markets, business reorganizations and key strategic partnerships. Following his tenure at Eli Lilly, he was VP of sales for Mead Johnson Nutrition, whose business model is a unique blend of strategy for medical and the consumer marketplace. Grady currently serves on the public board of Aptevo Therapeutics.

Grady is a graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy, and has a General Management certification from Duke University’s Executive Education Program. He has completed training on Corporate Governance at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and has his NACD Directorship Certification.

Grady is married with two children and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jim Seeds

Sr. Director of Sales Operations

Jim retired from Eli Lilly and Company in 2013 after a 30-year career in sales and marketing. His experiences include roles in sample accountability, sales force strategy and planning, brand marketing, incentive compensation and business reporting, sales leadership, commercial operations and business unit operations. In addition to his time at Lilly, he started his own sales force operations consulting business consulting for a top 10 pharmaceutical company and a Fortune 200 company.

From inception to sunsetting a sales organization Jim brings the experience needed to successfully scale, implement, and drive organizational performance.

Jim graduated from Butler University with a BS in Pharmacy. He is co-founder and serves as Board Chair of Circle City Fellows, a 501c3 non-profit in Indianapolis focused on helping young and older adults find their next right step to help Indianapolis flourish. Jim is married with 8 children and currently resides in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Sharon Slayback

Executive Director of Human Resources

Sharon has over 30 years experience as a Human Resources professional in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Her career began at Bristol-Myers Squibb where she spent 14 years prior to her 16 years at Novo Nordisk. While at Novo Nordisk, she led the HR function for the Diabetes and Obesity Sales organizations. Sharon was responsible for 15 sales expansions growing the sales organization from 250 to over 3,000.

After leaving Novo Nordisk, she was an independent HR Consultant where she partnered with expanding and start-up pharma and biotech companies to build out their sales organizations, and coached individuals on their career journeys. Prior to joining Vanigent, Sharon served as the strategic HR Business Partner for Charles River Laboratories’ newly acquired Cell Solutions business unit.

Sharon obtained both her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governor’s University. She currently resides in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Troy Stribling Sr.

National Business Director

Troy brings over 25 years experience in senior leadership roles, leading sales organizations, as well as broad cross-functional experience in sales operations, market access and sales planning. He served in various roles at Merck & Co., promoting many commercially successful pharma brands across key strategic functions and therapeutic areas. He was Head of Sales for Teva Pharmaceuticals, leading their CNS/Specialty sales division. Troy was also Vice President, Commercial Sales for Aimmune Therapeutics. During his tenure he led the re-design, restructure, and corporate reorganization strategy for the commercial organization.

Troy is a graduate of Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Troy continued his studies, receiving his MBA from the University of Phoenix, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Certificate of Professional Leadership from University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School of Business.

Troy is married with three children and currently resides in Florida.

Pierre-Alexandre Brault

Executive Director of Finance & Planning

Pierre-Alexandre brings over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry coupled with 8 years of technology experience. He first gained broad experiences across the pharmaceutical value chain (from research to commercialization) during his tenure at Eli Lilly and Company. After a few years as a discovery Biochemist, he joined the Finance organization where he led the launch of several drugs and commercial partnerships. Interested by tech, he joined Asurion, where he stood up and led a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team. Passionate about great customer experience, he brought his technical knowledge to design systems and protocols to incentivize internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences. He then joined Amazon’s Digital and Devices division where he raised the bar on customer obsession by developing engaging protocols and mechanisms to delight the customer.

Pierre-Alexandre earned a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, a M. Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Toledo and an MBA from the Kelly School of Business.

Pierre-Alexandre lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two children.

Stan Braxton

Vice President Customer Engagement & Operations

Stan has over 30 years of experience leading and managing operations across major pharmaceutical companies to small start-ups, both as a consumer and supplier of services. He spent 25 years at AstraZeneca and TAP/Takeda, and then 9 years at Ashfield and IQVIA. Stan has a unique insight into designing and implementing solutions and capabilities tailored to company strategy and product lifecycle, utilizing both in-house and vendor-managed teams. His background and scope of responsibilities have spanned from operations (commercial and production) to business insights, business development and customer engagement, compliance, and logistics.

Stan is a graduate of Penn State University, State College, PA earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics. He was recognized by PM360 as a 2020 Elite Award Winner in the Data Miner Category.

Stan is married with a child and a grandchild, and resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Deepika Phadke

Sr. Director – Commercial Operations

Deepika Phadke is an outcome-driven and accomplished sales and commercial operations leader with over 20+ years of experience in the Pharma & Bio-Tech industry. Most recently she was with Sage Therapeutics as Director – Sales Force Effectiveness, managing go-to-market strategies and broad range of technical and domain expertise in sales and commercial analytics work streams like incentive compensation, forecasting, brand planning and project management. Prior to that she was with UCB, Inc for 10+ years managing various strategic insights and Sales Operations positions. She also brings global industry experience working with Large Pharma & Life Sciences Organizations during her work with IQVIA.

Deepika received both her Bachelor of Science and MBA from Devi Ahilya University, India.

She resides in Alpharetta, GA with her husband and 2 amazing children.

Tyler Cowan

Vice President Business Development

Tyler has over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry and vendor services experience.  Tyler has held senior life science roles in sales, global marketing, payer/patient access, field sales leadership, business development, and M&A.  Tyler has led successful launches of over 40 brands across primary care and specialty to rare/orphan disease, specialty biologics and oncology. Tyler has led business development for multiple companies and created unique strategic partnerships.

Tyler was educated in Canada at Queen’s University at Kingston.

Tyler is the proud and engaged father of three children. He is an active USA Hockey coach and splits his time between homes in Doylestown, PA and Redwood City, CA.
